An immigration bond in Georgia is a form of bail used to release a person detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) awaiting the outcome of their immigration case. This type of bond is usually posted on behalf of the detainee by a family member, friend, or employer. The amount of bond set depends on the person’s immigration history and current criminal record.
